2019 has seen a record number of nominations for our prestigious Business Woman of the Year award. More than 500 nominations were received with candidates representing a range of industries and locations in the UK.
Over the years, the Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards has grown from being a regional ladies luncheon to a national awards ceremony with a key focus on business.
The accolade of Business Woman of the Year is the pinnacle of the event itself and previous winners have included entrepreneurs and Dragon’s Den stars Jenny Campbell and Hilary Devey, Karen Brady, and last year’s winner, Founder and Managing Director of Kiddilicious, Sally Preston.
The award also boasts amongst its Alumni, Jacqui O’Donovan, Managing Director of O’Donovan Waste Disposal who has recently been appointed Vice-Chair of the Department of Transport (DfT), United Kingdom, Year of Diversity Taskforce.
The Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards Judges now have the unenviable task of narrowing the nominations down to a handful of finalists to be announced at the end of July.
