Strength, resilience and legacy...
A celebration of women making a difference! The 36th annual Women of the Year Luncheon & Awards brought together more than 400 guests to recognise the achievements of exceptional women from across the UK.

The 2018 awards celebrated women who were breaking barriers, challenging expectations and making a lasting impact in their industries and communities. From successful entrepreneurs and inspirational business leaders to women whose courage and dedication have helped change lives, the stories were a powerful reminder of what women can achieve.

Four special awards were presented, recognising achievements across business, the arts, public service and history. Sally Preston was named Business Woman of the Year, Fiona Allan received the Jaguar Woman with Edge Award, and the Women of the RAF were honoured with the Woman of Achievement award.

The event also marked the centenary of the Representation of the People Act, with a special recognition award presented to the Women of the Suffragette Movement, celebrating those who fought for women’s right to vote.

With actress Sally Lindsay joining the celebrations to present the Suffragette award, it was a memorable occasion recognising both the women shaping our future and those who helped make it possible.

Congratulations to all our 2018 award winners!
