With nearly 300 applications submitted in 2025 these awards aim to highlight and celebrate women’s achievements in business and society, to promote role models and to inspire women to reach their potential.
There are two awards that are open for nominations:
Business Woman of the Year Award
This award recognises remarkable women in the business world who are breaking boundaries and achieving significant milestones in their careers.
Freeths Women with Edge Award
Sponsored by leading law firm Freeths LLP this award is open to women who are excelling in their careers, who are actively involved in their communities, have initiated impactful programmes, or have undertaken innovative and unique projects.
There are two ways to make a submission:
Submit an application for yourself
Simply complete and submit the application form – please allow sufficient time to complete in one sitting.
Nominate an inspirational woman
Once you complete the sections required the inspirational woman you are nominating will receive an email asking her to complete and submit her application form.
Deadline for submitting your form will be Tuesday 30th June 2026.
Once the deadline has passed nominees will be shortlisted, with all finalists being invited to attend an interview with our judging panel, where our winners will be chosen.
Winners are announced at the Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards, taking place at the prestigious Etihad Stadium, Manchester on Friday 9th October 2026.
Please note that all finalists will need to be able to attend in person the following dates:
Finalist Judging Day: Friday 4th September 2026
Women of the Year Luncheon & Awards: Friday 9th October 2026
