Hellen Ward is CEO of the award-winning Richard Ward Hair & Metrospa in Chelsea, London, and one of the UK’s leading salon business experts. With over 35 years’ experience, she is the author of the Ultimate Salon Management Series for City & Guilds, a columnist for Professional Beauty magazine, and an international lecturer on salon management.

Hellen co-founded the Salon Employers Association (SEA) and the British Hair Consortium (BHC), championing industry reform and safeguarding apprenticeships. A past Chair of the Fellowship for British Hairdressing, she is Vice President and Trustee of The Hair & Beauty Charity, Vice President of BAWE, a Trustee of VTCT, and co-host of the BlowOut Podcast. She is the mother of Elysia and Oliver and divides her time between London and Ibiza.
