Lou Robey is a senior leader in transformation and communications, championing women whose leadership and impact drive meaningful change.
With over 35 years’ experience across multiple sectors, including 25 years at the BBC, Lou has led some of the UK’s most ambitious change programmes. Her roles included Head of Internal Communications, Head of Change at BBC Technology, and Co-leader of the BBC Culture Change Programme.
She led the BBC’s largest-ever capital transformation, converting its historic headquarters into a world-class digital production hub – an award-winning programme recognised by the (APM) for excellence in change leadership. Her later work co-leading the BBC Culture Change Programme introduced a new employee experience strategy and developed over 100 internal change leaders, winning the Change Awards top honour in 2024.
In 2023, Lou became Managing Director of Women in Change, taking the organisation to go global, and is now a female founder of three businesses. Over the past 12 months, she has gone on to build her own brand, Voice4Impact, as a digital content creator and influencer. Through this work, she has grown a strong following while supporting senior leaders, organisations, and brands to stay focused and relevant when navigating complex change helping them create impact and build meaningful movements for change across all sectors.
She also hosts her own podcast, Voices on the Edge of Change, where she explores leadership, influence, and transformation in times of uncertainty.
