What an incredible day of inspiration, celebration and connection! The 43rd annual Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards took place at the Etihad Stadium in Manchester, bringing together more than 400 guests to honour the achievements of women who are breaking boundaries, creating change and lifting others along the way.
This year, we received over 300 nominations from across the country – each one sharing a story of courage, resilience and passion. From these, 14 extraordinary finalists were shortlisted across three inspiring categories: Business Woman of the Year, Freeths Woman with Edge, and the Emmeline Pankhurst Award: Woman of Achievement, sponsored by Male Allies UK.
The atmosphere was electric as we celebrated women leading with purpose and heart – from entrepreneurs driving innovation, to campaigners standing up for what’s right, to everyday heroes making an extraordinary impact in their communities.
It was a true privilege to share the room with so many talented, determined and compassionate women – and to watch our 2025 winners take to the stage to receive their well-deserved awards.
Each story reminded us why the Women of the Year Awards exist: to shine a light on the power of women to inspire change, create opportunity and make a difference – wherever they are.
Rachel Corp, CEO of ITN, one of the UK’s largest independent production companies, was awarded Business Woman of the Year.
Overseeing more than 50 hours of television content weekly and a staggering 7 billion+ digital views annually, her impact on the media industry is profound.
Judges praised not only her leadership at ITN but also her active role with organisations like Women in Journalism, Women for Women International, and the RSA BAFTA.
Neev Spencer, an award-winning broadcaster and host of Magic Radio’s weekday afternoon radio show, was recognised with the Freeths Woman with Edge award.
Her influence in the TV and radio world is undeniable, but what truly stood out was her advocacy for women’s success, and her ongoing work with The British Asian Trust and other charities close to her heart.
The Emmeline Pankhurst Award for Woman of Achievement was awarded to the Women of the Post Office, a powerful moment in the afternoon.
Their collective courage in standing up against one of the gravest miscarriages of justice in British history moved the room and reminded us all of the strength found in solidarity.
