The 40th annual Women of the Year Luncheon & Awards took place on Friday, 1st April 2022, to a sell-out audience of almost 600 guests. Please join us for our next Anniversary annual Luncheon & Awards on Friday 13th October 2023 at The Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel.

Keynote Speaker

British actress, women’s champion, and President of the Women of the Year Sally Lindsay delivered the keynote address with her brilliant fixture of humour and good old Mancunian grit.

Drinks Reception

It’s Gin-o-Clock at The Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards with guests being treated to a drinks reception sponsored by Staffordshire Gin.

Powerful entertainment

Guests were treated to a powerful opening performance of ‘This Is The Greatest Show’ by 2018 X-Factor contestants, LMA Choir, who later went on to perform an emotional rendition of Fight Song in dedication to the Women of the NHS.

Culinary Delights

The 2022 Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards was once again proud to team up with the talented trio of MasterChef 2019 Finalists, Irini Tzortzoglou, Jilly McCord and Delia-Marie Asser who designed and created a bespoke menu drawing inspiration from their unique heritage.

Our Women of Achievement Award 2022

The prestigious Women of Achievement award celebrates women who have shown extraordinary courage in extraordinary circumstances, as well as making a contribution to society. The 2022 award was presented to the Women of the NHS in recognition of their unwavering dedication, commitment and compassion.

Business Woman of the Year 2022

Suzanne Linton from Warwickshire was named the 2022 Business Woman of the Year. One of the UK’s longest running annual awards, the esteemed organisation celebrates the achievements of exceptional women, and highlights individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to their business, sector or wider community.

Community Heroine of the Year 2022

The prestigious Community Heroine of the Year award celebrates an individual who has made a vital contribution to their community throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. The judges were unanimous in their decision to present the award to Carol Ann Shanahan OBE, a businesswoman and Chair of Port Vale Football Club, for her pioneering work with the children’s charity she founded – the Hubb Foundation – and the Port Vale Community Hub.

The 37th Women of the Year Luncheon & Awards is due to take place on Friday 25th October 2019 at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole.

All proceeds from the event go to our chosen charities.
