2009 marked the 27th anniversary of the Women of the Year Luncheon and Awards, which was originally created by June Lawrie as a fundraising event for Vitalise (formerly Winged Fellowship Trust). Last year, we were delighted to raise over £7,000 in spite of one of the country's worst recesions - for Vitalise. Over the years, the event has grown dramatically and has raised an impressive £500,000.

Over the years, the winners of the prestigious and coveted Businesswoman of the Year Award have included Founder and Chief Executive of S&A Foods, Perween Warsi, the former ITNET CEO Bridget Blow, Deloitte’s Jane Lodge and Bravissimo Founder and Chief Executive Sarah Tremellen.
